How members opt in to text reminders
A member sees the screen below only after signing in, in two places: the “Want that nudge by text instead?” step after her first daily check-in, and her Account page (joinalmanac.app/account). She types her mobile number and taps a button that names the action,“Text me reminders”, with the full consent wording shown directly above it. Nothing is pre-selected; texting is optional and never required to use the service. We then text her once, asking her to reply YES to confirm the number; no reminder is sent until she has.
